Hello my name is Thomas

As we jump into this new year I realize there are some new faces, new potential brides + grooms and families just discovering me. So I figured it might be a good idea to introduce myself.

Hi there! My name is Thomas but most call me by Tom or Tommy. I've lived the majority of my life in Orange County, with a little stint in Phoenix and about 4 years in Atlanta. I grew up listening to stories told my by Grandpa about life and WWII, he was such a huge influence in my life growing up that I wanted to study history in college. Today nothing has changed, I still love stories and I still love history it’s pretty much the reason why I'm so passionate about being a storyteller with my camera, it's such the perfect fit for me. I truly feel that it's my responsibility to my clients to document your story and to help create your legacy for your family. Having two kids myself I firmly believe family is everything!

Ok enough about the why and more about the who.
- I am an Americanized Filipino AKA a coconut (brown on the outside and white on the inside, LOL), that is mainly because of the city I grew up in, we were one of only a handful of Filipino families that lived there, but that doesn't mean I’m not in touch with my roots and where I came from. It's funny because it still trips my wife out when my mom speaks to me in Tagalog (Filipino Language) and I can understand her, bummer part is I can only reply back in english.
- On my 30th Birthday I did my first Triathlon, I continued to compete competitively for over 4 years, I was even the Newport Coast Triathlon Team President for 2 years until injury slowly drew me out of the sport, however I do want to make a return one day soon.
- I've known my wife Heather since she was a freshman in High School, we dated for a short time after she graduated which was two years after I graduated, today we've been married for over 6 years and have two amazing kids, Colton (4) and Rowan (11months).
- Family means the world to me as I mentioned earlier
- I love Ice Cream, but love French Fries even more, crazy I know...
- I'm kind of tech geek, I love me some technology for sure! Yeah I'm Apple Fan boy as well
- I have been to 11 countries and counting, NEED TO TRAVEL MORE PLEASE!
- Instagram addicted
- Coffee drinker (goes hand and hand being a photographer and all lol)
- I love all kinds of sports
- Music has my heart from hip hop to country, bring it!
- Last but not least, having God in my life has been the best and that will never change

Also, one other thing about me is that I also run another company photographing Architecture, Real Estate and Corporate work. You can view my work at and my Instagram @tompellicerphoto

Anyways….I hope that helps you get a little more acquainted with me. Stay tuned for more information on who I am as a photographer

Review || iPhone app || PostalPix

As I continue to be impressed with my iPhone 5 each day I am stoked when I find a new app that just kicks ass. I figured if I like an app someone else might too, so I decided to periodically review some cool finds, be it iPhone, Camera gear or whatevs, it will be my 2 cents and you can take it or leave it.

Today, I wanted to review an iPhone/Andriod app that allows you to print the images taken from your mobile device without all the hassle of downloading the image(s) to your computer first. For awhile now I have been looking for a service to do this, stoked to finally have found one that l really like.

The app is PostalPix, for me it's super easy to use and very convenient. DONE. but really it's that simple.

So for starters the app is available for both iOS and Andriod and the best part is that it's a free app. Upon opening it for the first time they make sure to do their diligence and have you register for a free account, kinda standard these days.

Once you have created your account then your are pretty much set, of course you will have to allow the app to access your pictures so make sure you say yes when it asks. From there you can order at will by follow the easy to use format. What I really love about this app is the ability to print SQUARE images, yup that's right for all you Instagram users out there you can finally print your cool images that you have edited and have always wanted to print. AND let me tell you they come out pretty rad too, PostalPix uses Kodak Professional Endura paper so it's legit. The square images come in variety of sizes 4x4, 5x5, 8x8 and 2x2 Grid, I'm telling you I love having these choices! Oh and they do offer the standard 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10 prints as well.

After deciding on what size you want then you get to choose your images, they make it really easy to keep adding pictures to your order, with a few simple taps you can easily accumulate a lot of images, but that's the point right??? But here is the beauty, with certain selected sizes the more prints you order the less expensive each print costs, I say that's pretty cool.

When if comes to actually ordering the prints you have two options to pay, standard credit card or PayPal, since I use my Paypal account for tons of purchasing this makes ordering prints so freaking easy for me now.

Here are some samples I just got in the mail yesterday. For those that follow my Instagram feed you will see a couple of these were just taken the other day. So having said that, they charge very minimal for shipping and expedite the order pretty quickly. I would say from start to finish it takes about 3-4 biz days.

Anyways I hope that helps and now you can start bringing your iPhone/Android images to life.

If you order today there is 20% discount, sale end today though. Use code DADDYPIX
